A solid-coloured green "5-yard, 10 oz. 100% non-itch acrylic” kilt, purchased by Tartanista, a supplier of highland dress, which closed in 2025. Their kilts were inexpensive, this one costing only £23 in 2011. The fabric is lightweight but feels rather loose, compared to other kilts I own. However, at this price, I think the quality-to-price ratio is acceptable, and the kilt is suitable for unpretentious kilt-wearing.
If you're looking for a solid kilt in grey, blue, green, red, or brown, I recommend St. Kilda in Glasgow. There are also solid Pakistani-made kilts available.
