A clan/family tartan. Menteith is the name given to the western branch of the Graham family.
The kilt
A 5-yard 16-oz wool kilt. Normally, a kilt is custom-made in Scotland, but this one was bought ready-made on sale, therefore, in the 24" standard length. Also, the waste size was a bit too big.

Out and about in the neighbourhood.
In 2008, I bought the kilt on sale.
The standard length, 24", is a bit too long to my taste.
With my 175 cm/5'9", the kilt covers my knees.
After I wore it a few times, I sold it.
Someday, I might buy a kilt in Graham of Menteith tartan again, then a tad shorter and in 13 oz.
