The tartan

Scottish Tartans Society notes: "The design first appeared in the Vestiarium Scoticum and is different from earlier setts attributed to the Lord of the Isles or to any of the Clan Donald branches. It is not generally regarded as a clan tartan."

The kilt

A 13 oz. 5 yard wool kilt.

A very beautiful kilt; but being 24.5” long it must sit very high if it shall not be covering my knees. Thus, I have only worn it a few times.
