The tartan

An old family/clan tartan, dated back to 1800.

The kilt

The kilt is an 8 yard Casual from Heritage of Scotland.

When I got the kilt in January 2011, we had an extreme cold winter.
Altogether, I would wear the kilt only three or four times, then I sold it. Two unmotivated, asymmetric yellow vertical stripes to see on the back annoyed me. I so much should prefer better precision in pleating, rather than yardage for my money.
