Utilty kilts
Utilikilt Standard
The skirt
The first Utilikilt, The Standard, launched in 2000 and discontinued about five years later, was cleverly marketed as a kilt. In fact, it was a skirt. It had no overlapping aprons, but was a closed skirt with a zip front, and it had pleats all way round.
I bought mine in 2002, I like it, and I still wear it. The front being without buttons is so much cleaner than on Utilikilts today - or utility kilts in general.
